A haven from the hustle of the vibrant Gloucester Road, we’ve been serving our amazing community with Small Plates and Dutch Courage for Nine years. A truly ‘Public’ House to celebrate with your nearest and dearest, watch the world go by or retreat to the Hidden Oasis we call the Garden.
Our Kitchen team is headed up by experienced Head Chef Mark Stevens; classically trained and ingredient focussed, Mark and the team showcase local and seasonal produce, with world inspired small plates designed for sharing (or not!).
Front of House we share an emphasis on great service in a relaxed and not overly formal manner - after all, we’re just a local pub. With a number of years joint experience, our team is headed up by William O’Dea, Megan Taylor and Chris Nelson - with separate focuses, but a shared vision.
We have always been focussed on creating an environment where we would wish to pop in for a pint; to celebrate or commiserate, or simply spend a lazy Sunday.
